The Last Flight

by Julie Clark
This thriller is emotional and thought-provoking. Two women are trying to escape from their present lives. A chance meeting at the airport leads to them switching identities and flights. This page-turner has believable characters and a plausible plot - lots of tension, suspense, and fast-paced- it's hard to put down. Book Review

(by- Linda )

My first read by this author, but it will not be my last; this story was fast-paced and intriguing, with very relatable characters. Two women, Claire and Eva, are trying to escape their present dire circumstances and start fresh.

In desperation, after a chance meeting at the airport and some small talk, they decide to switch places and identities and vanish. But, of course, all does not go according to plan. The flight Eva is on crashes, with no survivors, giving Claire a chance at a new life. This is an excellent thriller. It grabs you immediately, with short chapters that create a lot of suspense and tension. You have to keep turning pages. Recommend.
