Another Freida McFadden book that is guaranteed to keep you guessing. Sydney Shaw is a young 30-something woman living and dating in NYC. Sydney is very relatable. Partly because what female hasn't had dating woes at some point - at least in this century?
It's no surprise that Sydney finally meets and begins dating a charming, very handsome man, a physician. But, as the relationship progresses, doubts start creeping into Sydney's mind, the plot twists and turns begin, and the tension builds, creating a tense atmosphere that will have you questioning everything.
The pacing is fantastic, but what really makes this book stand out is the unexpected and very satisfying ending, as McFadden ties up all the loose ends and leaves you wondering how you could have missed that one.
If you're a fan of McFadden's or love a good psychological thriller, especially thrillers with unreliable narrators, plenty of twists, and a story that keeps you guessing, this is a must-read!
