Elegy for Eddie
by Jacqueline Winspear

Book Review by - linda
A perfect Maisie Dobbs story with everything you have come to expect from one of her escapades- a wonderful historical setting, endearing characters, a glimpse of life during the 1930s and more insight into Maisie’s delightful complex personality. This book explores Maisie’s reluctance to spend money on herself and her propensity to try and control others’ lives. It highlights the changing political climate and the effect of war on society. In short, a wonderful addition to the Maisie Dobbs seriesBack.
