The Boy in the Suitcase
by Lene kaaberbol and Agnete Friis

Book Review by - linda
This is book #1 in a bestselling Danish mystery series and the first to be translated into English. Itís the collaboration of two critically acclaimed childrenís authors; Lene Kaaberol and Agnete Friis and a must read for anyone who enjoys crime fiction. The story hits on some key social issues and gives voice to some highly emotional topics. The writing style is sparse but the character development is rich and complete, allowing the strong emotional attachment necessary for an engaging story. Itís also about examining the choices made in life as the storyline follows the lives of several characters. Each adds something different and unique to the plot and provokes thought on some universal feminine theme. In short a welcome addition to the crime genre, I look forward to the next installment.Back.
