Book Review

(by- Linda )

This book nurtures the mind and the soul with an ingenious and original plot. Time travel is fascinating and a clever method for filling in the characters' backgrounds. Niffenegger also uses time travel to create tension and suspense; she slowly and in piecemeal fashion reveals future events. I loved how, when time traveling to the past, even after certain events are fully exposed, tension remains and continues to build until it occurs in the present.

This book also challenges the reader to look at more significant and consequential issues in life, like enduring love and our choices. It's hard not to wonder if our destiny is pre-determined.

My only slight problem was the pacing - parts of the book were slow. However, I still feel the book deserves all the rave reviews. This is a remarkable love story with a unique twist and fresh approach.
