Sarah and Adam are living their perfect life, or so it seems. Sarah is a top defense attorney. Adam is a writer who frequents their lake house for the solitude he needs to write and to rendezvous with his mistress Kelly. One day, things get complicated when his mistress is brutally murdered, and Adam is arrested for her murder. Sarah becomes his attorney and takes on his case.
