From the start, I loved the deeply flawed characters. Sarah (easily my favorite) is smart, ruthless, and a little morally skewed - but she's also completely compelling, the kind of woman who's used to getting her way. Then there's Bob, who quickly finds himself a person of interest when the woman he's having an affair with suddenly goes missing. Like in her previous books, Rose weaves in plenty of surprises, secrets, and twists to keep you hooked. The tension builds steadily throughout the story, leading to an ending that is both unexpected and satisfying. I love a good twisty thriller, and this one delivered, keeping me guessing until the very end. Fans of domestic thrillers will find The Perfect Divorce to be a binge-worthy read. |
