The Next Mrs. Parrish

I am a huge fan of this writing duo, so I was overjoyed to learn of a sequel to one of my favorite reads of 2017- The Last Mrs. Parrish.

I attended one of their book signing events (for this new book) and was thrilled to meet them and hear them speak in person. They really are dynamic in person as well as in writing and creating.

A lot is happening in this story. You may remember Daphne from the first book. Well, she is back. For those who are fuzzy about the details of the first book, Daphne is Jackson's ex-wife, and he is the father of her two children. In this story, Jackson is about to be released from prison and ready to take his life back. Although Daphne has managed to avoid him, circumstances will bring her and the children back into his life.

However, there's also a current wife, Amber, who is ready to be rid of Jackson but certainly has no intention of relinquishing her lavish lifestyle. Amber is sinister and used to getting her way. But there is also a new character. Daisy Ann added to the mix, which further complicates matters.

All this adds up to a fun, entertaining read as all the players vie for control - with the big question of who wins?
