Listen for the Lie was a twisty, entertaining thriller that pulled me in immediately. The main character, Lucy, was sharp, personable, and a little vulnerable, so I became emotionally attached (something I love in a book). I also loved how the author mixed traditional narrative with a true crime podcast. It added a fresh and modern feel to the book. I enjoyed how the story kept me guessing. Even though I anticipated part of the ending, it didn't diminish the enjoyment of the journey. The mix of suspense, dark humor, and small-town secrets was just right. If you like thrillers with strong characters and a podcast element, I highly recommend trying this one! |
