But, as the story develops, we learn that Violet and Jay's life is anything but perfect. Violet wants nothing more than to escape a cheating husband who loves her only for her money. Stava adds surprising twists to the story, especially one about halfway through that changes everything. The plot looks at themes of identity, obsession, and how family dynamics change, making this an intense and emotional read. |
